During the Parker Aerospace Supplier Conference, held in Irvine, California, on November 28th, Enjet Aero – Erie (formerly H&H Aero) was awarded Parker’s prestigious Supplier Performance Award for 2018.

Enjet Aero – Erie earned the tremendous achievement and recognition by being selected as 1 of only 6 Top Performers from Parker’s list of more than 1,500 total suppliers. Nick Dibiase, General Manager for Enjet Aero – Erie, was on hand to accept the award on behalf of his team. “This award is a result of our team’s dedication and focus to always deliver for our customers. I’m proud of them and thrilled to see their efforts being recognized by Parker,” said Dibiase.

The award from Parker Aerospace recognizes top suppliers annually for demonstrated excellence in quality and delivery, as well as their efforts towards cost management and continuous improvement. Today, Altitude Industries announced a decision to change its name and combine its operating companies, H&H Aero, Metal Spinners, Jet Engine Technology and JWS Machine into one single provider of aerospace engine parts, now called Enjet Aero, LLC.

Enjet Aero is a Kansas City-based aerospace company that provides critical machined and fabricated parts to the engine sector of the aerospace and defense industries, specializing in components and assemblies for the hot section of aircraft engines.

Today, Altitude Industries announced plans to make equipment upgrades to its jet engine parts facility in Erie, Pennsylvania. The new advanced equipment is part of an investment strategy to expand the team’s capabilities, drive productivity improvements, and provide the additional capacityAltitude Industries’ key customers need during this time of unprecedented growth.

That strategy includes the installation of a new Okuma LT2000EX, a machine that enables process flexibility, high feature utilization, and the ability to complete the maximum primary and secondary machining possible in one compact platform. This machine can use many different configurations to maximize the benefits for specific circumstances. In addition, the upgrade will include a new Fanuc robot, a Hexagon CMM, and a Laser Etch machine for marking parts. The combined investment will aid in the team’s efforts to improve work cell performance, productivity and its overall manufacturing capabilities.

Altitude Industries announced today a $5.3M capital equipment investment strategy to make upgrades to its jet engine parts facility in Terre Haute, Indiana. The investment is aimed at expanding the team’s capabilities, driving productivity improvements, and providing the additional capacity Altitude Industries’ key customers need during this time of unprecedented growth. As part of the equipment upgrade, Altitude Industries will install three Mazak Integrex e1250 V/8 Machines to its production floor, following a tiered scheduled approach, beginning in early 2019. The first machine will become operational in January 2019, with the others to follow in June and September respectively. The plan also calls for upgrades that will expand the facility’s floor space, work cells and capabilities. During an overview of the new equipment investment, Chad Collier, Vice President of Operations, said, “Participation in new customer programs requires investments in facilities, people and equipment in order to execute for our clients without adding cost or delivery disruptions.
